Message from Bill Estes, Owner:

The Camaro is a car near and dear to my heart. In 1967, Chevrolet's product lineup was expanded with the addition of the personal size Camaro. My father, Pete Estes, was General Manager of Chevrolet and an integral part of the Camaro from design to the launch and called it "a new standard in small car appearance and performance". He always remembered the time spent in the launch, design, engineering and safety of the Camaro. There is nothing quite like the style or sound of an honest, powerful sports car. And right from day one in the fall of 1966- the Chevrolet Camaro never compromised. From early reviews the media has been raving. I invite you to read more about the Camaro and see what all the talk is about.

Sincerely,
Bill Estes

INITIAL MEDIA REVIEWS

And so we've come to the tipping point. For the past forty years, six-cylinder pony cars have been both embarrassing and practical...No more. I have driven a prototype of the 2010 Camaro LS, I have felt the politically correct, environmentally friendly thunder of its 3.6-liter V-6, and I have one thing to say: I want one." - By Sam Smith, Automobile 8/25/08

"Chevy is casting its new Camaro as a modernist sports coupe rather than a revisionist pony car, and their case holds water. That argument is backed up with an expected EPA highway fuel-economy rating of 26 mpg, which is 3 higher than the similarly powerful Mustang FT, and equal to the ratings for the Infiniti G37 and BMW 335i."- By Michael Austin-Car and Driver 8/25/08

"The envelope, please: Chevy's new two-door is...very good. Very, very, very good. At the risk of inducing insider trading, now would be a good time to sell your Mustang stock."

"The new Camaro feels more akin to an American Infiniti G37. And remember: Thus far our driving has been limited to the base V-6 version" By Arthur St. Antoine-Motor Trend 8/26/08

Direct injection technology helps the engine deliver more power through increased efficiency, while maintaining fuel economy and lower emissions. That means less fuel is consumed and lower emissions generated.
